By MominPA from Philly,PA on 03/21/2009 Pros: Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Run very small Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice boots for cold weather activities, but run very small. Not easy to get into even though I have small narrow-ish feet. I am a size 6 1/2 and had to order the size 8. But like the warmth and the height and look of the boot. Kamik makes very good outdoor boots, my child has some. too!

Pretty boots but not a good fit By TerriT from Poughkeepsie, NY on 02/10/2009 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the look of this boot & was eagerly awaiting it's arrival. When I I tried it on (one size larger than I normally wear - sent the same size ones back already), my heel caught on the heel inside & it folded down when I tried to push my foot through. The boots were not as comfortable as I expected them to be (still quite tight).
By hotmama from greenland, nh on 02/08/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use the boots for walking and snowshoeing and just to keep warm. They are nice looking,so warm, waterproof great feature. A little on the bulky side.
A little tight, but I love it! By kiki in the snow from new york on 02/07/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I followed someone else's advice and ordered one size up, but the boots felt really tight at first. It is not easy to put them on. However, after I wear them and walk around, they gradually felt very natural, and I love wearing them. They are really snug to my feet, and it is very easy to walk, too. I don't like loose boots, so they proved to be ideal boots for me after all. I wish it were easier to wear them, though... They are completely waterproof and warm, and they will be good both in city and mountains.
By Nancy from Massachusetts on 02/05/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I loved the look, the weight, everything about the boot. What I was upset about was I wear a size 7 in everything - and I couldn't even come close to fitting in these boots! I went shopping to places near home and could not find a pair of these boots that I could try on, so I could hardly re-order. I have since found a pair of size 8 in this brand, in another style, so I now know that I wear an 8 in this brand. I was very frustrated!
Unrealistic temperature rating By Jack's mom from Fairbanks, AK on 01/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight Cons: Don't Breathe, Not as warm as rated Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are nice, comfortable boots, that would be fine for wearing to and from work, or on cold-weather dog walks in the snow. They would be fine for staying out for extended periods of time if it's not wet, and it's not colder than about zero. The problem with these boots is the "40 below" rating. These do not come close to being appropriate for serious cold, and it would be a mistake to rely solely on them for protection in such weather. Draw the line at zero and they are nice boots.
