By Warm in Quebec from Northern NJ on 12/07/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am normally an 8AA and ordered these in a 9. They just fit me in length, and seem to run narrow, which works well for me. I haven't tested them in subzero weather yet, which is why is bought them, so can't comment on their true warmth. Tough to get on an off, so if you were in and out several times per day they would annoy you. So far they seem like a good value for casual cold weather boots.
New boots - not tested yet By CalypsoKitty from New Hampshire on 12/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't worn these outside yet, but they look great and are very comfortable, easy to get into, and seem light enough for long wear. While I don't expect -40 weather in New Hampshire, I really like being able to count on having warm feet for general wear, snowshoeing and light hiking. I hope these are wonderful as others have said! I've already recommended others check your deals on boots.
By me from michigan on 12/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these in place of my sorels after reading a previous review. They are way less bulkier and you can definitely drive with them on. I ordered a 10 since I wear a 9 in Sorels and they fit perfectly. There is no loop on the back like in sorels so they are a bit annoying to put on and take off. Also, they don't provide as good as traction as sorels but overall they are way less cubersome than my sorels and have done great so far this winter.

By CO Mama from Colorado on 11/19/2008 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Plan to wear them at the Romp to Stomp this March, ordered a size larger than normal and still difficult to exit and enter. Once on they fit snug, so order larger.
Cozy, cute and very lightweight By Sled mom from Maine coast on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got these and we don't have snow yet but these are very cozy, comfortable and lightweight! I was looking for an alternative to my clunky, heavy Sorel pac boots and I think these Kamiks will be perfect if they can really keep my toes warm in cold, cold weather. I need these for deep snow, hours sledding with the kids, walking to work and driving (couldn't safely drive with the Sorels) through a long Maine winter. Looking at the treads, I'm fairly confident they will have good traction. They're high enough to keep snow out but entry and exit are easy. Very comfy AND they're cute! I just can't believe how lightweight they are. SIZE UP - I usually wear 8.5 - 9 and definitely need a size 10 in these (and I don't feel they make my feet look huge)and probably not a good fit for wider feet.
A stylish, functional winter boot. By Jules from Iowa City, IA on 11/10/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect! I selected the light gray color. I was extremely pleased with the appearance, the fit and the comfort. They will be great for winter activities and I can stay warm and dry on my commute to work and not look like a geek!!
Good-looking and functional! By Trisunder in AK from Unalaska, Alaska on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are an excellent example of form and function. Well-made, comfortable. Problems getting into them, they need the pull loop on the back to assist. Form fitting once they are on, no slipping at the heel or rubbing on the toes. Warm enough to wear average (not thick) socks and still be very comfortable. Very durable.
