By outdoor from Chicago on 02/02/2009 Pros: Durable, Snug Fit, Windproof Best Uses: Skiing, snow blowing Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First off, my fingers were frostbitten as a kid so its difficult to keep them warm without hot hands under any temperature less than 15 degrees when I am outside for greater than an hour. So given this these gloves do a nice job, but I still feel cold in my finger tips. Probably not because of the gloves, but because of the historical frostbite. They work well, they feel good, and with the year end discount, I couldn't pass them up. I like th mitten enclosue as added warmth idea.

Must be a bargain, I just can't use it! By Christopher ,the traveler from St. Louis, Mo currently. on 12/04/2008 Pros: Doesn't fit can't judge Cons: No basis for judgement Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Every use in N Wisc Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These mittens might have been a great value but, I personally won't abide what I believe is a tight(My prejudice)fit. I ordered and received an XL pair but, I've decided that my hands are claustraphobic. So I can't afford, in this economy, not to send them back for a credit. Thank goodness for STPs' return policy or, I couldn't afford to take a chance on what just 'might' be a great deal. STP helps' to make survival in todays' world just a little more likely.

By Nate's (the black lab) mom from Monument, CO on 12/01/2008 Pros: Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Cons: Need zipper pulls, Runs small Best Uses: Downhill skiing, Hiking/Running, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Heed the comments that note this item runs small; I am a woman with hands on the small side - I ordered the small and it fits fine. There is no way that this is a man's small. Also, I added zipper pulls to make it easier to open and close the mitten and access the glove (which was the primary reason for buying this model.
By Cat from Illinois on 11/12/2008 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband really loves these mittens--especially the little gloves that fit inside the larger mitten. The only complaint he had was that they were a little too snug for being a Large (which is what I bought him) but not so snug that they were too uncomfortable for him.
By Si from Snow belt NY on 10/15/2008 Pros: Warm, Water Resistant, Windproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Get a size larger. The inserts are small and the shell is a little bulky. Other than that nice glove.
