By Walk outside a lot from Fairfield, Iowa on 12/19/2008 Pros: Breathable, Good Traction, Tall, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are so warm! They take a little effort to get on, but once they are on, my feet feel invincible in the winter cold. I wear them with ice cleats, when it is icy out. I usually wear a size 7 1/2, and the size 8 boots are not too small. I am so glad I bought these boots.
Super warm and ultra comfy boots By Hiker KT from San Jose, CA on 12/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very warm and comfy. Do order a size up. I wear a 6 and I ordered a size 7, which is still a bit tight with thick socks, but perfect for thin socks or tights. I wear them in cold, wet weather or snowy conditions. They look great over jeans or with a casual skirt and ski jacket.

Nice boots but not my size By Liz from Oak Park, IL on 12/14/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: The sizes don't match Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I found this boots wonderful because they are warm inside, waterproof, have good traction and specially good looks, just what I needed. I ask for a size 7 to have more room for my socks even I'm 6.5 and they didn't fit me, so I ask for a number 8 but Sierra didn't have them in black (that was the color I choose because I think matches with most of my clothes)so I'm still waiting for my reimbursement. What a disappointment!!
Kamik Carnegie Winter Boots By Dog Lady from Waterloo, IL on 12/08/2008 Pros: Comes up high on the leg, Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Walking dogs twice a day Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They're really great as I walk my dogs twice a day all year round. The zipper is a little hard to get hold of and doesn't go down as far as I'd like making getting in and out a little more time consuming, but they're cozy, warm and waterproof, so I can live with that!
By HMD from South Carolina on 12/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would agree with the other posts that these boots run small. I usually wear a 7-7.5 and I got an 8, but they fit perfectly. They're extremely comfortable and overall were more than worth what I paid for them! Would definitely recommend for those who need a good pair of fashionable boots for outdoors in the winter.
Cute but I had some problems By Nicole from Ohio on 11/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was extremely excited to wear these boats, and when I tried them on the zipper broke. I was very disappointed. They are cute, warm, tall, and would have been perfect, but they broke!
By cynthia from Cleveland,Ohio on 11/25/2008 Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these boots very warm.My job takes me from door to door so I am in the cold. Boots ARE GREAT.I do not need heavy socks. But if your size is 9 you have to order 10 it is not a lot of room.I like my boots I order three more for my mother and others.
Nice boots, but poorly sized. By Black Bear from McLean, VA on 11/24/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Two of us with size 9 1/2 feet found the size 10 boot TOO short. We have returned them, hoping there are still some of the next larger size available. My daughter plans to use them for both school and winter activities at our cabin in WV.
By IncaTiger7 from New York City on 11/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this boot along with the Kamik Broadway. I love the quilted design and the thick sole. Even though the zipper is on the outside of the boot it is not really a big deal to me. On first try I found the boots to be tight fitting more so than that of the Kamik Broadway. I normally wear a shoe size 7.5 to 8. While I read the reviews on sizing up, I hesitated. My thoughts were along the lines of getting stuck with a boot that will fit in length but would be too wide. After having trouble with the tightness around the ankles I decided to exchange them for a larger size. I really like this boot and am looking forward to wearing them during the colder weather. Also this is the first time that I have ever ordered from Sierra Trading Post. I love their prices and merchandise.[...] I will definitely bookmark this site for future orders.
