boots for in camp
By hiker galVerified Reviewer from Michigan on 01/05/2009
Pros:
Easy Entry & Exit, Warm
Cons:
Not Comfortable
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Gear Usage:
Winter Sports
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Too tight in the forefoot and too loose in the heel. I am concerned the lack of space in the forefoot will mean cold feet. I'm returning the boots as a different size won't remedy the odd fit.

Bottom Line:

Comments:
Took the family to Michigan for Christmas break and my teen age daughter and I needed boots for snowmobiling. I order her pair first and liked the look and fit so I ordered myself a pair. My daughters foot is long and thin, mine on the other hand is 1/2 size smaller and fat. We got the same size and they fit due to the thick sock I wore. We found my streached to fit and when I put hers on by mistake they were not streached to fit me, but were tight enough for her. We both like the boot and would order them again. Price wise, they were cheeper then snowmobile boots, but just as warm and more comfortable.

These boots are great in deep snow... warm and waterproof. When the snow melted and we were left with puddles and slush they were still warm and best of all waterproof. They look good too.

I only tried the boots on, haven't worn and don't plan on it. Will be returning. They hurt my feet and the tongue of the one boot doesn't lay right and that hurts also.

not for a narrow heel
By prone to coldVerified Reviewer from denver co on 12/07/2008
Describe Yourself:
Casual/ Recreational
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
very nice-looking for a practical boot. Unfortunately my narrow heel was swimming around in the back. I have wide forefoot (bunions) and those were just wide enough,so the boot is apparently just wider throughout.
