OH, CANADA, YOU'RE BOOTS ARE THE BEST By Gimpy old broad from Stow, Ohio on 12/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've always trusted Canada for quality cold weather boots. I bought these for snow & cold weather in Northeast Ohio. I have not had the opportunity to test in the worst weather yet, as the worst is yet to come, but so far I've no complaints. I have walked into snow with them and they have proved to be waterproof and have provided good traction.
The construction and quality of the materials is very good. The soles and seams are solid. They run very true to size. I wear a 6 and ordered a 6; they fit perfectly with socks, which are needed.
I've worn them at work, inside, all day, and have not suffered over-warmth or sweatiness in them, yet when I get outside, they do seem to keep me warm. (I do reserve opinion on how warm until the worst weather hits. I do imagine that with inserted hot pack toe warmers, they will prove their worth in most to all conditions.
They are easy to get in & out of, which for me (slightly disabled) the easier the better. They are also stable to walk in, which is a big issue for me.
They are also attractive for a warm boot with less "klunkiness" than many, are very lightweight and the color is not hard to handle (I would have preferred black, but taupe is ok).
Overall, I'm happy.
heel a little wide for narrow feet By jngembree from West Chester, Ohio on 12/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the boots. They are warm and much more lightweight than my heavy pac boots. it will be nice to run around the back yard with the kids in the snow and not get worn out so fast from heavy feet! They do seem to be a little wide in the heel area but I have a narrow foot and I am used to that. It gives me the ability to wear thicker socks.

One Zipper was very stiff and initially it wasn't working. My husband put a little soap on it and the problem was simply solved.

By cold feet from albq, nm on 11/27/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these boots. They keep my feet warm. They feel true to size in length and are snug everywhere else. The zippers stick a bit so that's a little annoying. But besides that, I love 'em... especially for the price
