By DealsOnly from Bellingham, WA on 03/20/2009 Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am an 8.5. After reading the reviews along with STP description, I couldn't decide on a size. So, I got an 8 and a 9. Figured one would fit. The 8 was too small and the 9 too big. That makes them TRUE TO SIZE. Sent em back on my dime. Other than that, they are cute. Puffy ankles that don't tighten well, though. Would have kept if they fit.

Not high fashion but do the job By Frozen Commuter from Chicago, IL on 01/31/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I walk about a mile from the Metra train to my office in Chicago and this winter has been one of the worst in my memory. Temps and wind chills below zero for long stretches. My daughters (13 & 15) were less than impressed with the style of these boots but I have stayed comfortable and dry since wearing them. I would recommend them to anyone fighting winter elements.
Warmest boots I have owned! By yoopergal from Marquette, MI on 01/14/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Wide for narrow feet Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are the warmest boots that I have owned. I just came in from shoveling snow in 0 degree weather, and my feet are toasty warm! I have narrow feet, so the heel area is a bit sloppy, but wearing an extra pair of socks would help that problem. For just shoveling, I don't bother with the extra socks.

Juliet, Tn. The weather is very unpredectable. Sometimes it is nice, but in the winter months it is hard to decide how to dress. Mostly rainy, it is nice to have warm dry feet, being diabetic it is extremly important. I am really glad we found your website and were able to find some comfortable boots that were in my size. THANKS SO VERY MUCH!!

There is not support for the heel (nothing to hold it in place) and though my foot fitted the size shoe, it kept slipping out.
