Comfortable, warm and super cute too! By Winter Woman from Northern Indiana on 12/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a true size 7 and these boots fit me perfectly. They are easy to get on and off and very cute (I bought the grey). I have worn them outdoors for several hours at a time in cold, snowy conditions and they kept my feet warm and comfortable. If you are going to spend time indoors with these boots on, your feet will most likely get very warm. Also I don't know if the traction on these boots would be great on very slippery surfaces (ice) but they are fine on wet and snowy surfaces. I'm very pleased with these boots and would buy them again!
By Nathidel from Summit, NJ on 12/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are really warm and comfortable. I haven't had the chance to wear them on very extreme conditions yet, but so far so good. They are very cute as well. They do run big though, I'm an 8 and I orded them on 8 and they are a little too loose... I kept the 8's anyway because I'm afraid a 7.5 would be too tight... And who wants to wear tight shoes after wearing ski boots all day! Overall they are a good buy and I would recommend it!
By Lisann from Avon, MN on 12/18/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots would work well for casual wear with Jeans to watch outdoor games, etc. I didn't wear them in cold weather as I returned these boots due to sizing - but they were 'typical' boots. Nothing that said - Wow! Where did you get those?
By Kris67 from Waterford, WI on 12/18/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice looking boots. They're well made and seem very durable. They are warm and waterproof, but a bit heavy with a stiff sole (it may loosen up over time...we'll see). They run true to size.
Wonderful product - attractive and warm By mom of boys from michigan on 12/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn these out in the snow w/ my kids, my feet stayed very warm, cozy and dry. I love these boots - they aren't too bulky and I think they are very attractive.
By Snowplay in Iowa from Iowa on 12/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My teen daughter loves these boots! They keep her feet warm and dry and are not at all "clunky" looking, and are fairly lightweight for a thick winter boot. They withstand long snow play days in Iowa! Definitely would recommend!
Caution:Ordering down didn't work for me By Tishue12 from Philadelphia area, PA on 12/12/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: So I'm a 7 1/2 so I ordered down like they said to and it's TOO small! My toes touch the top. Very disappointing advice as it'll cost me. I also found that even though they were small my heal was slipping up and down in the boot when I walked. On the positive side, the boot seems to have great trackion, and was warm and otherwise comfortable around the ankle. Unfortunately, they'll have to go back.
By tory from morrisville pa on 12/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was pleased with these boots. I would order up a size. They run small.
By prone to cold from Denver, CO on 11/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This boot is just as advertised, but after seeing that other Kamiks tend to run small, I didn't believe the recommendation to order down. I'm an 8 1/2 and got the 9 rather than the 8, way too big. The heel seemed wide too, but I have a wide forefoot and very narrow heel. I didn't wear them outside so can't really comment on that.
By snowshoe bree from Los Angeles, CA on 11/22/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Snowshoeing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are cozy and lightweight for the insulation they offer. Great for snowshoeing or just having fun in the snow! I'd recommend them to anyone.
Half sizes are supposed to order down, but if you're on the large end of 8 1/2 I'd consider ordering a 9.
