A tall boot with footbed support and simple entry.
By Occassional Bowhunter from Upstate New York on 02/22/2009 Cons: Loose on heel, Tight on toe Best Uses: December bowhunting Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boots are intended to help with all day sits in a treestand, during New York's December bowseason. Bought recommended one size larger. Toe clearance seems okay. Boots are loose on heel, but tight on sides of toes and front half of foot, due to very snug compression of foam liner. Within a minute, foam can be felt to be molding to foot, reminds me of foam-injected ski boots of 30 years ago. Expect to wear only a polyproprelene liner sock. Soft nature of boot upper suggests minimal support. This may not be a problem as hiking distances to stand will be under 1/2 mile, and taken slowly. We'll see in 2009 how these work out. Recommend buying a boot dryer as an accessory.
By Great Mom from delaware on 02/17/2009 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my 12 year old son. He thinks they are warm, dry boots. Although he also thought they were a little heavy, but wanted to keep them anyway. He usually wears a sz. 9 1/2 mens, but I ordered an 11 based on others feedback. Fit perfectly.
great but a little bulkier then needed By Rob from Buffalo, NY on 01/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: nice but bulkier then I had thought they would be
I now look forward to the freezing cold! By Big Daddy from Buffalo, NY on 01/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As recommended, I ordered one size up and the boots fit perfectly. These Kamiks live up to their hype! The inner liner adjusts to accomodate differences in the thickness clothing/lower leg girth. The boots are not that bulky and the weight negligible, given the protection afforded. I drive while wearing them w/o hazard. The lower laces tend to untie thus require a double knot. As for style, everyone asks about them.
thickest, warmest, most durable boots ev By erin from wisconsin on 01/23/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm 5'10", female and active. They come up to my knees almost and have a removable liner that's warmer that I thought possible. I will never have cold feet ever again. They run small, definitely order a size up (even after male to female conversion).

By Jimmy from Minneapolis, MN on 01/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Feet don't get too hot, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We just had a recent streak of below zero that didn't each touch these boots. My feet were always warm and comfortable, yet never too hot.
By Sonoma from Reno, NV on 01/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use these boots at a remote job site in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The composite toe provides the required safety while keeping my feet warm by not conducting the cold. There isn't much in the way of ankle support and, as with all boots that have a slip in liner, if you do much walking you will end up with your socks bunched up around your toes (really not that comfortable). However, while your socks are still where they should be, they are a very comfortable boot.
