By Busy Mom from Chelsea, Michigan on 12/23/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Clean, Easy To Hang, Great Color, Needs a block panel, Quality Construction Best Uses: Formal living room, Living Room Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The panels look very nice. Dressy but not fussy.
If I wanted to insulate and block out light , I would have bought the block out panels with it, but that was not what I was looking for.
By Sandy from Woodbridge, VA on 12/16/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Hang, Great Color, Quality Construction Best Uses: Bedroom, Living Room Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these draperies to hang in a bedroom and also my living room. Just a light press with the iron, hung them up and they look lovely. The color selections were great and matched my decor perfectly.
By ryansmommy from buffalo ny on 12/04/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Hang, Great Color Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Loved these curtains but wish they had a backing. They block no light, but look nice. I'll just install a light blocking liner.
Champagne taste on a beer budget!! By Buster & Lucky's Mom from Wailuku, Maui on 11/30/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Blocks Out Light, Easy To Hang, Great Color, Quality Construction Best Uses: Bedroom, Living Room, Privacy Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have searched high and low for the perfect curtains for our bedroom and living room, but they are so expensive!! When I saw these advertised and the price, I jumped on it. I ordered gold, coffee, and celadon and planned on returning the color I liked the least...well, I'm keeping them all because they are so beautiful and look so classy. I like that they have the grommets on top, because it makes it easy to pull closed, they don't get stuck like the tab top curtains--sometimes a bit noisy, but you get used to it. I had to hem one set for the bedroom to 64" and it still looks fabulous. The greatest buy for me this season--especially being deprived of major retail stores out here in Hawaii--and those that will ship to Hawaii for a reasonable price. Thank you Sierra Trading Post.
Just what I hoped for! Great! By KT from Minneapolis, MN on 11/21/2008 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these curtains! They were just what I thought they would be like from the picture! A very cool vintage/modern flair!
Wow, very nice and inexpensive By Suzy, who won't be sewing curtains, Yay! from Mount Vernon, WA on 11/18/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Hang, Great Color, Quality Construction Best Uses: Bedroom, Living Room Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: First, I ordered the Silver, thinking they would be a slight icy blue, as shown on my computer. They are actually an amazing beautiful silver, but not right for my living room. I exchanged for the Celadon, and heard the "AH" sound as I opened the package. I am in the process of hanging them, and the grommets look really nice. The color blends so well to the Northwest greens out the window, and I do want the light to shine transparently through. I do wish they came in one longer size so they would reach the floor.
Faux Silk Shantung Curtain Panels By Winter enthusiast from Fairfax, VA on 11/12/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Hang, Great Color, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered the Faux Silk Shantung Curtain Panels in navy blue. The color and fabric are very nice. It blocks some, not all of the light (which is what a wanted - there is an additional privacy curtain you can add if you want no light to come through). I use it for a patio door off my family room. The silver grommets work well for swinging the curtains out of the way quickly. I haven't cleaned them yet (dry clean only). No complaints so far.
By Ann from Iowa on 11/11/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Blocks Out Light, Easy To Hang, Great Color, Quality Construction Cons: Wish they could be washed Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am using these curtains in my big bay window in the living room.
They are very easy to hang and look great! The navy is the perfect shade.
I do wish that they were a little thicker and I am going to use a shade. I also wish that these curtains were machine washable instead of dry cleaning.
By AED from Boston, MA on 11/10/2008 Pros: Easy To Hang, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These curtains are just what I expected for the price and I am happy with my purchase. However they do not block out much light. In my case the blockage is sufficient but for others it might not be. One other thing that bears mentioning is the rings by which they hang, the curtains I bought were Soft Gold but the rings are silver-colored. Further, the rings are integrated into the curtains, not external. This was not evident in the picture or the description. I would recommend to a friend with reservations.

Am very happy with both.
