Very nice design. I think this would be one very warm and dry jacket with layers! I did send it back, as what I was really looking for was more of a basic lightweight waterproof rain jacket, and this would be better suited for snow sports in my opinion. Also, this style was a little bit shorter than I like a jacket to be. If I could have afforded more than one jacket, I definately would have kept this one, aswell as the Lowe Alpine Gortex style I eventually settled on.

I was hoping it would be a little lighter as a shell - something I could take and get through a monsoon in but I think it's more for cold weather wear. Very handsome fitting though I would have preferred if it were slightly longer on the body (more coverage from the rain!). I also didn't like the obvious Gore-tex logo on the bottom front which is very apparent on a black jacket. I am keeping it and very happy nonetheless with the purchase.

I found the exact jacket (in other colors obviously)for 200$ more. This fit is great and not bulky at all. The gortex is perfect too! for those cold, wet, rainy days on the slopes Perfect jacket! It made the jacket feel very bulky and heavy. I am returning it.

This one fits the bill and then some. The construction is excellent and the pit-zips are very sturdy. I am 5'9" tall and have long arms. I usually wear a size 6 but generally purchase jackets in a size 8. This jacket fits perfectly in a size 8. If you are hesitating because of the price, think again; it is well worth it and you will wear it for a long time.
