Cute with a stream-lined fit By JT from Buffalo, NY on 03/30/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fitting, non-bulky technical jacket. It has a sleek look and is not constrictive. It has the usual pockets found in technical jackets and the color is bright. The length comes to the mid-hip. The insulated jacket is a bit warmer than what I wanted- but will probably still get a lot of use out of it.
By Havin' a Blast from Davis, CA on 03/11/2009 Pros: Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: No Zip Off Hood, Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm really happy with this jacket, and I'll be keeping it as my ski jacket. The material is soft, so it's very comfortable, but Goretex means it's really REALLY waterproof (which I'm happy about). I like the color, and there are quite a few pockets inside. My complaints are minor and more or less cosmetic, but why it's a 4/5: 1) no zip off hood 2) puny snow skirt 3) no hand/sleeve liner.
By DK from Ann Arbor, MI on 03/02/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice looking jacket with solid features.
Based on others' reviews, I purchased a fleece liner and I'm glad I did. The jacket wouldn't be warm enough on the slopes without an additional liner.
I especially liked the hood feature -- use the hood or roll it down and secure it with a tab.
A good deal!
I just don't like the green color. By ski mom from NH on 02/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is so hard to tell on the computer! I was hoping the color would not be such a pastel looking green. I am sure it would be nice if I liked the color. I have another jacket by Marker and I do like the quality.
Order 1 size larger than normal US size. By Finger Lakes NY Skier from Rochester, NY on 02/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear a US women's medium - size 8. These are european sizes, so I orderd a 10 and it fit perfectly.
warm but could have a bit more styling By ski harder from jackson hole on 01/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very warm and totally waterproof.
By BarCol from Newmarket, Ontario on 12/29/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Downhill, Freestyle Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Ordered this jacket for my daughter for Christmas[...] Jacket is very well constructed, if perhaps a little lightweight from my view, but my daughter has said she'll just layer with polar fleece underneath. All around we are very pleased and have placed orders for ski/board wear for my husband and son since then!
By sadie the child of winter from Fort Collins, CO on 12/17/2008 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lots of Pockets, Sweet mint green color, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Torso length too short Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Winter everyday, Winter sports Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am tall so that could be why the torso length and arm length feels too short. I am a snowboarder also, so i'm use to jackets being longer. It is honestly not enough of a problem for me to return it. I deal with this problem in every article of clothing. Super warm.
Stylish and well-constructed. By Liz from Concord, New Hampshire on 12/12/2008 Pros: Durable, Lightweight, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Warm, but I usually have to wear another layer underneath it. It's a problem that most ski jackets have... even though they're "insulated" they're not quite warm enough for the night skiing in single-digit weather.
