Warm, convenient, and nice looking, better than the picture shows. smooth outer fabric, soft internal fabric, and fluffy collar. Have a designated inside pockets for earphone, and even a glasses cleaning cloth tied in the pocket. Not tested under raining situation yet, but already surprisingly good.
By Dave the pilot from Doylestown, PA on 09/01/2009 Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As a Marker ski clothing user, I was not impressed with this jacket. Sleeves were way too long for a size small jacket... think 35inches. No inside sleeve gaiters to prevent drafts or snow into sleeves. Also, the waist gaiter was loose thus preventing snow in jacket in event of a fall. Pocket options were limited as well. All in all, a poorly designed and fitting ski garment.
Good jacket for most climates By Phil from Annapolis, MD on 01/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just used this jacket in Sweden, basically the dead of winter, North of the Arctic Circle. When properly layered with a breathable undershirt, a shirt, and fleece, this jacket was wind and waterproof. It kept me warm and dry through dog and reindeer sledding, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice fishing snowshoeing, and a VERY long night at the Icebar.
