great jacket for outdoor activities By brian the bump skier from sf ca. on 01/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the second one I have owned. The first one the zipper on the jacket pocket broke which Sierra Trading Post replaced no problem. The jacket itself breathes extremly well, better than my fleeces. It is quite warm and extremly lightweight. I use it to ride to work on my bicycle every morning and I stay warm and don't get all sweaty.

By Funkenjaeger from Bangor, ME on 12/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm 6'1" and 165lbs, and prefer a slimmer fit, so I got a medium. Sleeve length is just right, about right around chest, but I wish the body was just a little longer (common problem though). Collar is a little strange, it pushes uncomfortably against your neck/chin when zipped up fully - otherwise it folds down nicely. When sitting, a fold of the jacket juts out quite prominently in the lower chest region, but that's a minor annoyance.
I find it to be a nice casual light jacket for cool weather, and with another layer underneath it's good for moderately cold weather as well. The fleece lining gives it at least a little warmth, and it keeps the wind out nicely.
I am very happy with how it looks, I have received multiple compliments on it in a matter of weeks.
Had I paid full original retail price for it I may have considered returning it for something different, but overall for the price here at Sierra Trading Post, I am quite happy with it.
