By Snowman from Petaluma, CA on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great jacket for the price. Cozy, durable, rugged. Great looking liner design hidden inside. For more money, I would want a better front zipper and back vents, but at STP price, this was the jacket I bought after much searching online and locally. Can't beat it.
By PearlBailey from MonteVista, Colorado on 10/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Attention to design and quality detail (pockets, vents, drawstrings) make this an excellant medium weight jacket. I wear it over a down vest for extremely cold temperatures.

Nice and warm with a great fit, too! By 70Skier from Pittsburgh, PA on 03/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Extreme Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this the day before a trip to Big Sky. Great fit, kept me warm, and couldn't beat the price. Warm enough on its own, but roomy enough for some layering.
Grear jacket for the money By pentaxer from Capital Region, NY on 03/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought it a a gift for a father-in-law and he likes this jacket. Seems to be a little bigger/wider which helps with layering.
By yogaguy from St. Paul, MN on 03/11/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed an all-around jacket that I could wear alone or with layers as needed. I'll take it on kayaking trips for camping, but I'll also wear it in town for casual use. The features are great for the price, from the pit zips to the Napoleon pocket in front to the snow skirt to the multiple inside pockets and draw cords on the bottom. Everything I need. (I don't ski, so I don't miss the double zip. It would be nice, but not mandatory for me.) The sleeve length is great for me, but if you have short arms, they may be too small. If you are not using layers underneath, the sizing may run large. I have a size small and still have space to spare with two layers underneath. We're having near-zero weather in MN today, and this kept me very warm. It looks nicer than the old jacket it's replacing, too!
By Brian-amp from Upstate NY on 02/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The inside materials that make the pockets are both soft on the skin and durable enough to hold squared edge objects like keys, inhalers and mp3 players and mini amplifiers. The sleeve ends are adjustable by good heavy velcro. The hood has a sturdy brim with an adjustment to keep down pour away from face. Goggle pocket on inside of jacket is big and handy. The seams on outside three pockets are a material that resembles rubber and should keep out the rain and wet snow. The snow skirt is practical. Has a clear pass pocket on inside. A plastic hook for outside passes too. The inside of jacket is black nylon with white attractive graphics. Pit zips go form rib cage up to pits. The ykk zipper on front is single though. It's not a double zipper, And with enough force the design might allow the zipper pull to be damaged, twisted or bent; that's this jackets only flaw. This jacket smells good too. Water beads right up on it and falls off with a shake.
Roomy jacket, great price By Fatman Rolling from Northern NJ on 02/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought it for casual ware, but used it in Vt in 10 degrees weather and it was very warm and comfortable. Some might find the sleeves too long, but it was great for me(I usually buy shirts with 35 inch sleeves)
Great jacket, warm, but a little big. By SDKphilly from Philadelphia, PA on 02/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this jacket while skiing, and it kept me very warm and dry after numerous falls into the snow. There are a lot of pockets for anything you'd want to take with you, including a dedicated MP3 player pocket with a hole for your headphone wire. The size of the jacket seems a little big, but other than that this is the perfect jacket for outdoor winter sports!

Its not restricting and is great for an every day jacket as well. I would recommend this jacket, its been great for this New England Winter.
