Pants are warm and look okay.
perfectly insulated, ill fit By Barber Hiker from Pikes Peak Region, CO on 02/25/2009 Cons: Poor Sizing, Poor Ventilation Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These offer a nice amount of light weight insulation. But, as previously stated, they are too snug in the hips. I'm 6'0 and 180, so not too big in the hips and pants that fit me in the waist are nearly always too bulky in the hips and thighs, but not these.
The internal gaiters have an elastic strap that is too large to fit snugly around my mountaineering boots it is so large. The gaiters were worthless for me.
Pants are close to be excellent, but have a couple issues to say the least.

By Hugo from Harrisonburg, VA on 02/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I mainly plan to use these pants for downhill skiing. When I first tried them on I considered returning them due to a "snug" fit in the waist and hips. After wearing them on the slopes they are a definite keeper. Kept me toasty in the early morning cold, and were good at breathing as the day got warmer and I exerted my self on the diamonds. No liner or underpant needed. Just throw on and go.

By Snowboarding is my new hobby from NC on 02/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These pants were bought for my first snowboarding trip. They are a little on the snug side, im glad I ordered a size up. I ordered an XL and I had to use a belt at the waist, but the legs fit okay. If I had ordered a large (which was my first choice) they would have been way to tight for me in the legs. I prefer a bit baggier pants for this kind of thing, but all in all they work well. They are comfortable, warm and water proof.
