They are the perfect size for reaching far down into the mouth and not hurt the fish, yet not too long to transport around. They are great for all freshwater and light saltwater. Also, no rust since they are stainless.

I have paid 10x this price over the years for surgical tools that were of no better quality & finish than these.

Smooth jaws do less damage to flies. Large finger holes feel like tying scissors and more dexterous
