great value for the price By El Gato from Woodbridge, VA on 10/24/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Best Uses: Hunting, Sporting Events/Concerts, Wildlife Viewing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have owned a pair of these binoculars since 1983 and they are still working great despite frequent heavy use. The 8X30 provides me with good field of view and plenty of magnification for my needs (Eastern and Western U.S. hunting and general use). I have recommended these to several friends and all have been very satisfied.

By Squint from Clovis, NM on 10/10/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I shopped online for a week looking for the best price on 8x30 Steiners. [$] I have never had a decent pair of binos before. The Steiners are great for what I use them for. They do have some problems with stray light at night so stargazers might want to look somewhere else.

great binos for the price By tim the tracker from washington state on 09/10/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a bow hunter and light weight binos are a must these are great. I have compared these to more expensive brands and these hold their own. In some cases these stieners take in more light. The thing I like most is the one time focus from 20 yds to infinity.
