great but wish i could find footprint By Meg the camper from Portland, Oregon on 08/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great tent, so easy to set up, the only problem I have about it is that I have been unable to find the footprint for it anywhere. Took the tent to Vermont and did some camping, it kept me dry in a torrential down pour!

Good tent for the Money!!! By brassman from Boise, ID on 08/11/2008 Cons: Difficult To Setup, Poor Fly Design Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Tent goes up easy, but the fly is a bit confusing at first. It must go on a certain way even though the tent looks symmetrical. Also, to get the fly stretched tight you need to use 6 guy lines and it only comes with 4. A very minor redesign of the fly and this would be an awesome tent. Have only used 2X on precip free backpacking trips so can not comment on durability or waterproofness. Bought this tent because of its price, at [$] it is hard to beat. Yes the $200 plus tents are lighter but only by about 8 oz for a footprint this size.
By John from Colorado on 08/11/2008 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just received tent, so I haven't had time to review it in the field, but I am sure it will serve the purpose I bought it for - as a lightweight backpacking tent for primarily desert environment experience.

Good ventilation. Not an opportunity to try out fly/waterproofing yet.

By still packing down the trail from between the continential divides on 08/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great value for a two person, lightweight, two doors (don't have to crawl over your partner in middle of the night) & two vestibules (easy to access gear), three season tent. Tent is light enought to avoid squabbles over who's going to pack/carry the tent. Only drawback is lack of rod sleves (eg. old Kelty V series) vs. clips for ease during night set-ups. Included 1st quality tensiled stakes vs lesser quality bend easier aluminium. I am one who likes a full fly because 'moisture' always seems to follow me; the more adventureous could cut a few ounces by leaving the fly behind- - - at their own risk.
Buy it!!! What more could you want for. By Hiking Gran from Missouri on 08/06/2008 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Provides an excellent canopy for star gazing without bugs. Sets up quickly and accomodates my oversized sleep pads plus packs and two dogs...yes, I am the only human sleeping in the tent.
