By DJ from Mt. Vernon, WA on 10/17/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good looking, Versatile Describe Yourself: Style Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As another reviewer wrote, these are cuter on the foot than in the picture. They look great and are very comfortable, especially when I'm in them all day. They felt slightly narrow at first, but the leather is very soft and after a half hour of wear, they felt perfect. The downside of handmade shoes though, is that the sizing isn't always consistent. Might be best to order two of the same size and keep the one that fits best. Also, the pair I got has the right shoe shaped slightly differently in the toe than the left shoe.
By shoecanuck from Pennsylvania on 09/26/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are super comfortable and funkily stylish. And they fit my orthotics! Definitely order one size larger (order the 39 if you're normally an 8). Was a little worried about the high-cut back as one reviewer said she had to get it cut down, but it wasn't a problem at all. Extremely comfortable and lightweight.

Great, flexible walking shoe By Denise the dog walker from Washington, DC on 06/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Alternative, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I now have three pairs, since I loved the first pair I bought so much I was already dreading the day when they'd wear out.
I'm hard to fit, with a wide small foot needing orthotics, and these shoes fit the bill and then some. (The sizing is fine for me, but then I usually need a 37 because of width.) The articulated (three part) sole makes them very flexible and hence comfortable to walk in, the laces make them adjustable, and they can even be worn with casual skirts as well as pants. While I don't doubt that the high back and sides can bother some women, I should note that I frequently encounter just such problems with other shoes; these absolutely have never pinched nor irritated. The leather is beautifully soft.
I hope Sierra keeps stocking El Naturalistas--they're awfully hard to find even at full price.
By EMU97 from Michigan on 05/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe is adorable -- so much better looking on one's foot than it looks on the website! The shoe looks durable, and is very comfortable. I normally take a size 39. Size 39 felt too small, and size 40 feels a touch too big. I decided to go with the size 40. I just cannot seem to get the fit right with El Natura Lista, which is a pity because I love their shoes.
By Jackster from Toronto, ON on 04/14/2008 Pros: Breathes Well, Cute, Durable, Stable Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Peak at back digs in, Sides too high Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I don't understand how a shoe that is touted as being foot-friendly and comfortable would be designed with that peak at the back that digs into the bone. I had to pay to have it cut down. Even so, the sides are high as well and dig in a little.
Cute, but chafes without socks. By Funky shoes rock from Allentown, PA on 04/09/2008 Cons: Inside side seams chafe Describe Yourself: Alternative, Casual, Trendy Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Very cute. Nice materials. Needs padding where sides meet insole.
By consumer from Pittsburgh, PA on 03/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great shoe, but had to return them - the size 40 is closer to 8 1/2 - 9. If you wear 9 1/2, they probably won't fit. Wish they came in 41!
