Are You Built Like A Brick? By Bunny from Seattle on 04/23/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: There is no way this skirt is going to fit you unless you are built like a brick. I usually wear an 8 or a 10. I ordered the six and it hangs very very very low on my hips. Perfect for a 19 year old. I was very disappointed that I had to return it, because it is awfully cute. The picture is a little misleading as well. The skirt is not as straight as the picture makes it seems...it flares out at the bottom. If I could figure out a way to make this skirt work for me I would, but I would have to get the entire thing reconstructed.
By Sierra Trader from California North Coast on 09/01/2008 Best Uses: Casual Work Days, Leisure Wear, On a Date, To School, To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Casual Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even though other reviewers said to order a size smaller I decided to take a chance and order my normal size 6 since no smaller sizes were available. Unfortunately, the skirt was HUGE. I could literally take it off even when fully zipped. If it could order it two sizes smaller, I would. The price of the skirt doesn't make it worth trying to alter it. Too bad because the fabric is great.

It can be worn casually or slightly dressed up. Lots of compliments when worn.

By MetroMom from Arlington, VA on 06/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I really liked the color, fabric, cut, length, but the waist is amazingly large... wouldn't even stay on my body, and I'm not known for having a wasp-like waist. Order at least one size smaller, maybe two, and you may love this skirt.

By Skirt Lover from Boise, ID on 06/04/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable Cons: Poor Fit, Wrinkles Easily Best Uses: Casual Work Days, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Casual, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: No joke about being too big. I even like to wear my skirts very low on my hips but when I ordered my usual size I could easily pull it on or off without unzipping it. I have real hips and they were not stopping the skirt from falling off in the least bit. Make sure to order a size or two smaller than usual....especially those of you with no hips.
By Phoebe from Jesey Shore on 06/04/2008 Best Uses: Casual Work Days, On The Weekend Describe Yourself: Eclectic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This skirt is either designed to be worn on the hips or it has a major sizing flaw. The fabric is beautiful and I would have loved it if it were cut to be worn right below the waist, but not all the way down on the hips.
