Great all-around outdoor shirt! By Uber from Haverford, PA on 08/24/2008 Pros: Adaptable, Cleans easily, Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Solar protection Best Uses: All Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought three of these for a 2 week hike of the GA/NC AT. I rotated them and rinsed them with mountain water and let them air- no dirt or smell stuck! The temps ran from 34 to 100 degrees and it was comfortable throughout. No chafing from the 60 lb pack either.
I have since used them for whitewater adventures, poolside, and going to the beach- great sun protection that dries rapidly!
By Hiker babu from Austin Tx on 08/03/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Warm Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nicely made product but picked up that polypropilene-like stink rather quickly, donated the shirt to our Kilimanjaro guide team. Would have loved it but for the smell. Maybe good for daily use but not extended wear.
By Hiking dad from Kalamazoo, MI on 07/14/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this hiking in the Upper Pennisula of Michigan. It's also stylish enough for me to wear to work. Mountain Hardwear designs their clothes for function and a comfortable fit. I've never been disappointed by any MH product I've purchased. The shirt is also light enough to wear on hotter days as a sun block. Great shirt!
By Andy M from Seattle WA on 07/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking, Snug Fit, Stylish Best Uses: Cold Weather, Running Describe Yourself: Weekend Warrior Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Man that's a nice color! Sleeves are a bit short. I had to get the med size for the fit in the chest but then the sleeves were a little short.

By Wishin I were on the trail from Indiana on 04/22/2008 Pros: Athletic Fit, Comfortable, Lightweight, Looks good, Moisture Wicking, Seems don't rub Best Uses: Climbing, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Comments: Have worn this shirt several times recently, for everything from backpacking, rock climbing and knocking around town. Love the fit, warm enough for cool mornings, but cool enough when the sun comes out. Got a great deal on it and would do again!
Good Shirt For More Than Just Hiking By MDC from SLC from Salt Lake City, UT on 03/31/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Moisture Wicking Best Uses: Layering in winter, Warm Weather Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this shirt for hiking in the summer, but have found it useful to layer with in the cold. The fit is loose which makes it not only good under a backpack, but also under another shirt or jacket under a backpack. It is smooth enough that all the layers don't end up binding up together. I think this shirt will be good on hot sunny days and the long sleeves will protect from sunburn. I have now bought three of them in three colors, all very nice looking.
