By Franko from Atlanta on 02/05/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity Best Uses: Backpacking, Paddling Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't had a chance to use it yet so I can't say how strong or waterproof it is but it looks well made. The capacity is plenty to hold my whole chuck kit and food for a 3 or 4 day paddle. It will strap nicely to the bow deck of my kayak. It's made of lightweight material so I am a little concerned about its durability.
By Boarstone from Maine on 01/21/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Paddling, Sailing Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Useful for large loads for this size. I bought for camping gift. Great for boaters/campers/base camp, this size too large for backpackers. If leaving camp for the day great for hanging food stuffs out of the way of "critters". Work as dry bag for clothes/bedding etc. as well.Just about anything you want to keep dry and out of harms way.

I bought one of these along with the 25L LTW Pneumo bags. Basically, they are identical...with the exception of the valve placement (on this bag, it's mid-bag; on the other, it's at the end), the hanging cord, and the ability to hang this bag in different directions.
So if you already have a rope you can use to string up a bear bag, you might consider just buying the slightly cheaper 25L LTW Pnuemo...given that they are basically the same bag.
What makes this one nice is that you can use it as a bear bag OR simply get rid of the hanging cord and use it as a regular dry bag. Either way, it works great. No complaints so far.
Worked better than expected By unafordable from Wilmington, NC on 09/06/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Campingkayaking Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I took a small group of scouts out backpacking to earn their merit badge. They needed to camp/hike approx 30mi/5days. This was the system me and another adult used for our food and trash at night. It required very little work to hang the bag even on the first night when we had the most amount of weight in it. On nights 2 and 3 it rained. Our food was totally dry when we brought it down the next morning. And one morning when it kept raining, it was much easier to keep my food dry by just letting it stay inside this bag.
By Toce from Seattle, WA on 08/13/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Paddling Describe Yourself: Competitive Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this as a bear bag for a backpacking trip in the Pacific NW. The weather was rainy (surprise) but the bag kept our food dry while hanging overnight. 25L capacity holds a surprising amount. And the attached para-cord is plenty long and strong. Highly recommended- [...]
By Joe-Bob from Clarkston, MI on 08/12/2008 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Paddling Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used two of these bags on a canoe trip in Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario. Very tough bag can handle as much weight as your hands can take, hoisting with the small diameter cord. The attached throw-bag is handy, as you are never searching for the hang rope. The low-friction material also slides easily into larger dry bags. The compression valve is a great feature, also.

Great capacity and very waterproof.
Quality AND Versatility, Wow By Backpacking Flyfisherman from Northern California on 06/03/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Adventure Racing, Backpacking Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Haven't used it yet, but the material is of great quality. A little bulky around the head, but anything can be shoved into a big enough pack. It's amazing that the quality matches the versatility. Great price for a bear bag. It's heavier than the ~$80 ultralight bear bags, but on the other hand it's waterproof, has a vacuum sealing mechanism of sorts, and is solid as a rock. A great starter bear bag for backpacking, and at a great price. Glad I bought it.
Loved it so much, I bought a second By crodge2k from Cambridge, MA on 05/15/2008 Pros: Strong Material, Waterproof Best Uses: Camping, Paddling Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Took this canoe camping for 6 nights in Algonquin Provincial Park and used it for bear bagging our food (enough capacity for about 4 days food for 2 people with a mix of dehydrated and freeze dried food). I couldn't have been more pleased. Compared to hanging the portage pack hanging this was a snap. The throw rope doesn't have much stretch, so when you pull it up in place it stays put. The bag for the rope is convenient, and the bag itself, being waterproof and airtight, really protected our food. When I saw this on sale in the catalog I snapped up a second one to store the stove and pots and pans in next time so I won't have to hang a pack at all.
