By Sammy Crockett from Knoxville, TN on 10/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting, Casual Wear, Cold Climate Describe Yourself: Occasional Shooter Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have worn the 7 inch non insulated for about 6 months and don't want to take them off my feet. I just purchased the 10 inch insulated in red/brown. They are just a tad stiff, but have all the earmarks of being every bit as good as my 7 inch non insultated pair. I may get a 10 non insultated pair as well. I have read some of the negative comments, but all appear to be very subjective. All Browning Kangaroo/shark skin toe boots are absolutely top quality. Light, durable, water proof, look great with jeans or casual paints. They give me unbelievable latteral stability and total foot/ankle support. Great for long walks, jogs on pavement or ground. Great support going up and down hills.
They are possibly a half size larger than your usual size, but if you have long toes and not short stubby feet like me, they may be true to size.
By indianrunner from Hennessey, Oklahoma on 12/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great upland boots. Maybe consider uninsulated for warmer climates.
By Kenny from Virginia on 11/30/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Big Game Hunting, Bird Hunting Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfort from day 1 and they require 0 break in time. You can take these boots straight out of the box to the field. The normal size is somewhat narrow but I ordered an 1/2 size down (wide)and was perfect. If you are questioning another pair of boots...don't do it, get these! They are high quality, durable, waterproof, and great looking. The deer might not care what your boots look like but the ladies certainly do. Regardless of the situation, these boots will take care of you.
By Smitty from eastern Idaho on 10/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Warm, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Received these in the mail the other day. First impressions: very comfortable, right out of the box, though they do run a bit narrow as others have said. However, I have fairly normal width feet and these boots don't feel too narrow; they feel as though they will easily stretch across the widest part of the foot with use and fit nicely. Quality of materials and workmanship is excellent. These boots seem like they will last a lifetime with proper care. A great deal at this price.
