Comfortable on long rides with many ventilation areas. Fits well, adjusts easily. A wheeled adjuster would be better.
This is my second in this model By The Old Guy from Pataskala, OH on 05/19/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Best Uses: Everyday riding, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This model saved my head in a recent crash. So I replaced it with the same model, plus the visor. The visor helps on bright days, adding a bit of relaxation to the neck, since I don't squint as much.
A bit big for small head/face By Trigirl from Northern Michigan on 05/13/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday riding Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's big for my head - looks wide, but fits my friend nicely, who has a bigger head. We're sending it back for a replacement, since the back adjustment does not work properly- it sticks. Nice helmet for the price thru STP. [$] Ended up buying a small Specialized Propero helmet that fits me perfectly.
By pastures of heaven from Salinas, CA on 05/07/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday riding, Road cycling Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this helmet ran slightly smaller than my former Giro Animas. Great helmet, cool vents, and the visor is perfect, just enough to keep the sun or rain off your nose.
Great helmet... that doesn't fit By Camo Rod from Snoq Valley, WA on 05/04/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice removable visor Best Uses: Cold-weather riding, Everyday riding, Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn Giro for over 17 yrs and my last one, a 2004 Giro Havoc, was a medium. It did not fit the same. The plastic side pieces of Roc Loc system seem much straighter and does not arch upwards to clear teh ears. It rode about 1/8" too low and rubbed my ears. The medium was too tight (front to back) and the large was too wide. Great features. Nice price. Huge air. It must fit some people. Big disappointment. I'll wait for the 2009 or 2010 iteration.
Great Helmet, Wish They Had XL By Big Beautiful Outdoors Woman from Montgomery, AL on 04/29/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday riding, Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a little tight but the large fits. Wish I could have gotten an XL. It's SO much better than the [...] one I had been using every day. I figured the other helmets weren't worth the extra $ but I can see how this helmet is A LOT more protective than the cheaper version. Hope I NEVER get to really find out but it's cooler and looks more reliable.

We've worn this helmet before and love it! Easy decision when I saw it at Sierra Trading Post.
