A Great Product at a Great Price By Ally from Iron Mountain, Michigan on 03/08/2009 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Best Uses: Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Looks streamlined and has many vents. The size small is a perfect fit for me in the Giro line. I like the visor for intensely hot, sunny days. This makes it versatile enough to use for mountain biking too.
great helmet at a fabulous price By dock from Walnut creek CA on 11/16/2008 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My forth Pneumo If I could stop falling on my head I would not have needed so many
Performance at a reasonable price! By Madtown Bob from Madison, WI on 08/11/2008 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Durable, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads, Priced right Cons: Silver strap shows dirt Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The Giro helmets fit my head better than any other. The Pneumo is just as protective as the Atmos or Ionos at a fraction of the price. I cannot tell the difference in the weight between these three models and the ventilation seems comparable. I've got two Pneumos and I just ordered one for my son. I'm inclined to order a few more to have them on hand when my current stash is trashed from a crash or extensive use. The only drawback on the white helmet is the silver/gray chin strap. It shows the sweat after about a dozen hard rides and I have to clean it or gross everyone out.
By Nathan from San Jose, CA on 08/08/2008 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation, Lightweight, Nice fit system/pads Best Uses: Everyday riding, Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product at a great price. I originally ordered the large (I was right on the boarder line size wise) and returned for the medium without any difficulty. For the price you are not going to find a better helmet.
By dkc from Ft. Collins, CO on 08/07/2008 Describe Yourself: Competitive Cyclist Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I would like to try this product but it was sized much too small. I usually wear small sized helmets and head measures 22 1/4" which is in the middle of the SM size indicated for the helmet, but I couldn't even get it close to going over my dome. The other color choices were non-starters.
By bikenski from utah on 08/04/2008 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation Best Uses: Everyday riding, Mountain biking Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: this is my second one and bought one for my husband as well. the visor makes it good to mt bike with and then can just remove on the road.
By Flat top from Baldwyn Mississippi on 08/01/2008 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation, Lightweight, LOOKS GREAT Best Uses: Everyday riding, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ride 5 to 6 days per week in often blazing hot and humid weather (Mississippi). This helmet is well vented, light and noticably cooler than what I have used in the past.
By Old Guy from Rockford, IL. on 07/29/2008 Pros: Convenient back-of-head adjustment, Good ventilation Best Uses: Everyday riding, Mountain biking, Road cycling, Warm Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use for Road Bicycling. Easy adjustment. Cool ventilation. Good fit and quality. Visor can be tilted up to shade nose but still allow viewing on a Road Bike. Cons: Difficult to find a good place to mount rear view mirror on helmet. Info on where pads attach is not in the instructions. Those with little hair might get sunburned through vents.
