Hoped it would be better this time By dog lover from Athens, GA on 05/11/2009 Pros: Attractive, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a similar shleter years ago when the kids were small. I wanted this one for my dogs. I hoped the set up would be easier, but it's still a challenge to thread the collapsible poles throught the fabric guides by oneself. I should have gotten one of the pop-ups I had researched online, but was scared off by how hard people found it to collapse them back.
By Sculler from Sarasota FL on 04/22/2009 Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this to keep my girlfriend and my furry dog out of the Florida Sun. It also will work well when my new grandson comes to visit where the floor and and tent covering will meet our needs.
Inaccurate product description!!! By Roxy from Dayton NV on 04/08/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Nowhere in your product description did you say that one side was open. I bought it thinking it was more like a tent... So, because your product description is not accurate, I am returning it._______________________________[...]
Perfect lightweight sun companion By Wannabe Outdoor Enthusiast from Irvine, CA on 03/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Beach, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wonderfully packaged in a lightweight over the shoulder bag. It was easy to set up & has more than ample room to shade you from the sun. Although, I haven't tested it outside of the house I'm very satisfied with it so far. It's exactly what I was looking for to use at the beach or park. It's very lightweight & may not hold up against strong winds.

It provided a good meeting place for the kids and adults and was easy to see in the crowd. Nice for the shade and very easy to carry in and out and set up for a multiple day event. Jah Mon!!!!

By EJ from Midwest on 08/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight Best Uses: Beach, In the yard Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We got this shelter for our middle schooler to use during swim meets and other all-day sporting events. It's also become her favorite spot to read in the yard. Set-up is really easy -- basically like a very simple shock-corded tent. After help the first time, she can do it alone. The fabric seems thin, so we'll see how it holds up. With the good design and great price, I'm willing to take the chance.

By ALN from New Jersey on 08/03/2008 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sturdy Best Uses: Beach, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is great for the beach--easy set up and in addition to stakes for the sand, it also has sand bags on 3 sides for those breezy beach days. We set it up when it was pretty windy and thought it might end up flying away, but the sand bags, stakes, and crosss ventilation of the screens helped it to stay in place. We use is for our dog, who likes to be outside and be near us, but isn't always keen on sunbathing. It's super light and well worth the price! The only thing missing is some sort of flap over the screens, for those non-breezy, direct sunlight days. Regardless, it's still great.
