All that you could want for the beach. By Five_star_one from Port Huron, MI on 07/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sturdy Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought one for toddlers to use on the beach. It sets up easily, has optional guy ropes and stakes for the wind. I was so impressed that I immediately bought 2 more, one for each of the grandchildren to use. It has SPF rating, is made by ABO Gear (always excellent quality), has screen for breeze and cover for shade. It is light and easy to set up with 2 poles.

But I did a "trial run" in my living room. It was easy to set up with the help of a second set of hands. Nice and roomy for me and my 2 boys. It's compact and lightweight when folded up and put into the carrier. Can't beat the price for what you get. [...]
By Beebop from San DIego, CA on 07/21/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I like this shelter because it protects me from the sun while I'm at the beach. What I don't like is that the telescoping poles which holds the thing up is poor quality. It sections don't stay together well, which makes it harder to put up and take down. My husband also says it doesn't have as much shade as he'd like.

By Mike from Virginia on 07/15/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy to set up, Lightweight, Sturdy Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We used this product several times at the beach in Hawaii. Despite the intense sun, the shelter gave great protection, and was quite stable in breezy conditions. Very easy to erect and take down - even in a situation when we had to hurry because of a rainshower. Great Value.
By Cooter Bob from Charlotte, NC on 07/14/2008 Pros: Easy to set up, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am hoping that the light weight of this item will not translate into insufficient sturdiness against beach winds. Sand pockets are a really smart idea. For mountain camping, smooth river rocks should work in the pockets as well.
