They do have an elastic string running through the middle for keeping them together once removed though.

Set up and take down are a snap and it is easy to fold up and put back in the sleeve.

A better design would have been shorter sleeves with clips (like better quality tents). It's a nice size but the mesh sides do let in a lot of light so unless the sun is dead overhead you will need to hang a towel over the sunny mesh side to use it as a shade shelter. Since sun shelter was the primary reason I bought it, they could have designed it better, perhaps with dark colored mesh or a narrower mesh panel.
A must have for all ages!!! I thought it would be a good place to place my food and drinks, if not myself!
I also plan on setting it up during outdoor get-togethers.
I haven't actually used it yet, but did put it up in less than five minutes.
