By Chris from Indiana on 07/21/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Collects Condensation Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have two of these tents. My wife and I stayed in one while the kids and dog stayed in the other. I followed some advice from an article I saw about buying tents and it was definitely true in that a 3 person tent can really only hold 2 people. My wife and I are very average size and there is no way anyone other than a small child was going to fit in the tent with us. We were able to have enough room for the two of us and our packs, but that was about it. The tent is very easy to set up. In fact my 11 year old son and 8 year old daughter had the entire tent and rainfly set up in about 5-8 minutes. We did have a lot of condensation inside the rain fly, but it was an unusually cool weekend and there was a lot of moisture in the air.
good price, great warm weather tent By jim the boston climber from Boston, Ma on 07/21/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: perfect tent for 2 adults and a child. I wish it had a better door design with a bottom zipper to keep out bugs but otherwise happy with the tent for a warm weather tent
By Scubasteve from Oregon on 07/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got the 3 person Titan for camping with 2 people after reading reviews about the 2 person Titan being cramped. I think that was a good idea, especially if you need to bring gear in cause its raining. Very light, quick to set up, and a great fly. Fly doesn't extend to ground, so maybe problem with strong winds making it drafty, but this tent is all about ventilation.

I am not a huge camper but this tent was easy to use and the perfect size for 2. I will attempt camping more now that I know how easy it is.
By Roubidoux from Midwest on 07/13/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: [...] The first tent I received was damaged, but Sierra quickly made it right by sending another one. Quality is first class as expected with Marmot products. Great for camping in summer humidity.

It has good ventilation but also kept the (light) rain out.
Great 2.75 - 3.0 Season Tent! By any major dude from The City of St. Louis, MO on 07/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Took it on a ten-day canoe trip in Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. It lends itself particularly well to canoe trips up North. Stood up to two summer thunder storms and a couple of down pours with ease. Sans fly, on clear nights view Northern Lights - no bugs to swat - from "bed". The design has been a blessing in the muggy midwest summer. I've used it for three and four days on the trail in the MO and AR Ozarks Mtn's - hills really - for this reason. It would not be my first choice for longer trips or in mtn. ranges with pointy peaks. More than comfy for two. Wish the doors had double zips. I'd rate it a 2.75 - 3.0 season tent for my purposes. Can't beat the price.
By exnhlo from Gillette, Wyoming on 07/08/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this tent just a few days before I went backpacking with my two sons (15 and 8) in the Big Horn mountains of Wyoming. We set it up in less than 10 minutes without looking at the instructions. It kept us dry in a rain storm. It is a little cramped and wouldn't recommend for three men - that wouldn't be fun. Other than that, great tent and a very good value.
