Easy to set up. Nice size for two adults but would be very crowded for three.
"Good tent for the money!" By Old Stoney from Kalispell, MT on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't used this product yet but I set it up at home....very easy setup. It looks like it will be great! Very roomy for two people for it's weight and size. I have a backpack trip in a couple of weeks and look forward to using it. It seems well made but is not a serious mountaineering tent. Bought a footprint from Marmot after reading the other comments.
By ej from pullman, wa on 06/27/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Waterproof Cons: Collects Condensation, Poor Fly Design Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: vestibules are too small
not easy to ventilate
door design not great
it is hard to enter/exit tent in rain without getting water inside, but good rain protection when inside
just enough space for 3 pads
good for 2 adults/1 child
overall good tent for price

Cons: No upper fly vents, bottom hinge doors aren't the best design to keep intruders out(mosquitos).
The pros easily outweigh the small cons. Recommended!
Great tent for 2 to 2 &1/2 people. By Knotty boy from Wilmington, NC on 06/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Beach, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great tent for 2 people but bring a shoehorn if you plan on putting 3 adults in here. My daughter & I took this backpacking in Linville Gorge, NC and found it very easy to set up and very comfortable. Two huge vestibules for our gear that didn't come into the tent. Plenty of tie down and guy out points. Good deal for the money! Images shared by: Knotty boySandy Flats - Linville Gorge, NC Tags: Picture of Product
By hunter from mn on 06/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Sturdy Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping, Hiking Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just got back from a week long camping trip in Northern Minnesota. Tent held up to the rain extremely well. Over all a great tent. The fly is a little difficult to deal with if you are in a hurry to get in and out. We were due to the bugs. Other than that zero complaints. It is like most three person tents, it actually fits two with gear.
just right - backpacking with the kids By JMR from Albany, NY on 06/18/2009 Pros: Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Car Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: No frills tent good for adult and two children. Seam-sealed right away and has done well in a few heavy downpours.
By Lee from Rural Valley on 06/17/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Sturdy, Waterproof Best Uses: Backpacking, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Can't beat this tent for the price. Definitely a 2 person tent that is rated as a 3 person tent. If anything you have a little extra space for gear inside the tent and under the vestibules on each side. Haven't used it in the rain, but looks completely water tight with fly in place. Easy set up. A $3 tarp found at any discount store can work as a great foot print. A little on the heavy side for ultra light backpacking, but if the load is split between two people the weight should be similar to most one man shelters.
