These do the job in the snow and rain and on ice slicked boat decks.

Great Shoe For Great Price By Snow Lover from Rogers, AR on 12/22/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these boots for our ski trip and have worn them for a lot more than that. It has been cold and rainy where I live so I have been wearing them a lot and they are great. My feet have been dry and warm on some pretty nasty days. I haven't gone skiing yet, however I can tell these are going to be perfect. They are a little heavy but I think that is to be expected with any snow/cold gear boot.
Great boot but, durability questionable By annonymous from Fort Madison, Iowa on 12/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought these in 1999, used only a few times each year, still look new but this winter the leather/rubber interface completely came apart on both sides of the left boot. I still have a pair of 23 year old all leather timberlands that I wear all the time and have held up much better but not as warm.
Great for picky pre-teen! By Jesse the picky from Ada,MI on 12/15/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Laces lock, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, During snowboarding, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Walking during the winter, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My pre-teen son hates winter boots as much as I do! In his mind they just aren't "cool". These boots are great because of the waterproofing around the toes to the upper. Even with a leather upper they do keep water out and are very comfortable and warm. These are the first boots since he was a kindergartner that I have been able ot get him to wear. He loves these boots and they are what almost all the boys his age are wearing.
Columbia Footwear Bugabootoo Winter Boot By Chris the hiker from Wiesbaden, Germany on 12/12/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great product, continue this line.
By Geo from Galena, IL on 12/08/2008 Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boots are toasty warm. Leather uppers were stiff but after two wearings they broke in and became flexible. The soles are slippery on hard painted surfaces but great otherwise.
By Ice Dog from Minneapolis on 12/07/2008 Pros: Lightweight, Nice looking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots look great, but I found that the previous negative reviewer from Belgium was right, there's a horizontal seam just above the heel that rubs against the heel and makes these unwearable for me. I'm disappointed, and amazed that almost no one else seems to have had this trouble. But I had to send these back.
