I knew when I purchased them that they were not water resistant, but on one occasion wished they were! I wear a size 8 normally, size 9 in New Balance, so ordered a 9, which was just right.

Great for trails and rocks By SharpieMOM from Dallas/Fort Worth, TX on 07/04/2008 Pros: AppearanceColor, Great Traction, Stable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These run SMALL!! I ended up with a full size larger than normal. Sometimes I need to buy a larger size for the shoes to be wide enough, but these I needed the larger size for the length.
I purchased these for a vacation to Yosemite, Tahoe, Northern California Coast, San Francisco. They provided excellent traction and stability on the rocks at the bottom of the waterfalls in Yosemite, around Tahoe, and looking at tide pools along the coast. However, I found them too heavy and stiff for walking around the city. I will keep them for camping and day hikes.

I like a sturdy shoe to use in my in home gym. I feel it will work just fine for that. Only disappointment is, I am a true size nine, average width, and I found this shoe a full size to small. I reordered it in a ten. Otherwise nice shoe.

now trail shoes. I also own a pair of CapRock trail shoes which I absolutely love. The Myradas are a bit heavier than the CapRocks but just as comfy and stylish (yes that is important).
