Comments:
These were purchased for light trail hikes, barn chores and riding. They seem to run at least a half size small. I normally wear a 9 to 9-1/2. I'm glad I bought the size 10's. When Fall gets here, they will fit snugly with heavier socks. They were a good value for the price.

As recommended I ordered a size larger which I was hesitant about at 1st but so far it seems fine especially if there will be times that I wear heavier socks. For the great price, they seem stable and durable and will work perfectly for what I will be using them for-moderate hiking. After reading another review that stated there was no arch support , I purchased an insole and I think it will really help.I haven't had a chance to use them much yet, so the real test will be when I go to Alaska next month.Very good price!

Comments:
They run small, I ordered these for my daughter, she normally wears a size 7 womens, so I ordered a size 8 because the other reviews said they ran a size small, but had to return them becuse the 8s were also to small, went for 9s so she could wear them for more than a couple months, they seem to be fine. These are not mountaineering boots but are ok for light backpacking.
