By Enjoying_Maine from Maine on 03/08/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Snowshoeing, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Some reviewers found these boots stiff. I found them to be very comfortable and less stiff then a high end pair of hiking boots. These are my first really warm boots, upon my first outing in a Maine snowstorm I realized that feet can actually be warm in the winter.

Not so comfortable to wear in no snow areas, but at least you can deal very well the cold and snow!

I needed a boot that could keep me warm even when standing around for 2 or more hours.
It is difficult to drive in but I simply take off the right boot and wear another shoe.

By Transplant from Salt Lake City, UT on 02/02/2009 Pros: Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Snowshoeing, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A little stiff like a good winter boot should be. After wearing them snowshoeing for a few days they became very comfortable and were super warm (it was the first time my toes weren't cold). They are a bit hard to get on and off, but the warmth is worth it. Give them a chance, they are an excellent deal.
