Worlds best boots for chores in the snow By Chip Quinn from Wayland outside Boston, MA on 02/29/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not the best support Best Uses: Snow, Snow Shoveling, Walking the Dog Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very well made, very warm, vdry convenient to put on, light enough. It would be better if the zippers locked more positively, but you can lean to lock them reliably. The fit is on the large size, given that thick soks aren't called for with quick-on boots. They don't have enough support for serious hiking, but they are great for chores or short walks in winter.
