The lining is soft and warm and the tie-up laces allow me to make them as snug or as loose as I like. They are surprisingly light on the foot. I am very cold-natured and these boots makes my life much happier. Warm feet = happy.

By Caro from Mountain View, CA on 10/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these boots to spend winter in the high desert in Oregon, where we sometimes get up to 5 ft of snow. These boots, I cannot say enough good things about them. They are incredibly comfortable, and warm, and yet super lightweight. They really feel like slippers, but they have really good traction. I took a walk on the snow every day I was there, and couldn't have had better footwear. They are waterproof, and super cute!
