The light weight and warmth truly lets you go and go in them.
I wore them day in and day out all last year and ordered 2 more pair for this year.

By Pinky from Orlando, Florida on 08/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Look was not attractive, Toe was way too wide, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these boots to be worn on my vacation in Germany this year. The boots were very comfortable and was easy to put on but i could not get pass how un-attractive they were. The toe was way too wide and bulky and needed to be paired down. I felt though i were wearing ski's. Apart from that i would have kept them because they were the correct height, color and comfort.
By meganova from Seattle, WA on 04/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutly love these boots. They are just like wearing slippers all day long. Very warm but never sweaty. I keep the laces loose and can just easily slip them off and on with one quick pull.
As far as the discrepancies in sizing, here is what I figoured out.....I ordered the black pair for myself for my birthday....at the same time my husband ordered the brown pair for me. With a direct comparison of the two I can tell you that the toe box varied between the two. The leather edge on the brown pair came almost directly back towards the leg while on the black ones the leather trim came almost straight up creating a larger toe box area. I fit perfect to size in the black ones but due to the shallowness of the brown ones I would have had to go up at least a half size. Can't say for sure it is dependent on color, but there is definitely a difference in construction amongst these boots.
Hands down though - - super comfortable and makes me enjoy the cold!

By the shoe and boot freak :-) from minneSNOWta on 07/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, It's summer now Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is summer now, but I'm quite sure these boots will live up the Sorel reputation. I love the styling of these boots, but as they are a bit spendy, had to wait for the summer sales. I'm so happy with my purchase and love Sierra !!!!!!!!!
