Winters in Jackson are severe, so warm, waterproof boots are essential. Sorel continues to make excellent boots that perform just as described. These are hard to get on the kiddos feet the firt few times and I bought them 2 sizes larger than she wears now, other than that they are awesome boots and I won't go anywhere else for my boots ever!!!!!
