They would not take them off in a house, and after a while they started saying it's too warm and finally took them off. So it should be perfect in a cold snowy weather. They cannot wait.

They love them - in fact my daughter wore them from when she opened the box and the entire next day! Maybe a little bit wide around the ankle but I shouldn't have bought a size up as they seem to be true to size. Just being over-careful!
