Comments:
I am very happy with the fit and feel of this boot. And they look cute for winter boots, too! I have a wide foot and a high instep and high arch, so fit is important to me. The top is a little stiff, but not so much as to bother me. I leave the last pair of hooks empty and tie the laces one notch lower to fix that problem.

They are just what I needed for my daily walks and sledding with the kids: warm, waterproof and give good traction, and the price was right too! This is a great site for those of us who live in a small town and don't have a great selection of sizes/brands available!

Part of the difficulty in getting in and out of these boots is what also keeps the snow out! So trade a little inconvience for warm, dry snow free feet!

No room for thick socks

Describe Yourself:

Gear Usage:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I tried these on with the nice thick SmartWool socks that I wear all winter and my feet cramped up. They fit great if I put them on with just nylon socks on, but that is not how I would use them.

Warm/Dry//Uncomfortable
By delivery driver from upstate NY, snow belt on 11/26/2008
Pros:
Rigid uppers too stiff, Sizes run small, Warm, Waterproof
Cons:
Not Comfortable, Sizes run small, Too stiff upper material
Best Uses:
Short periods of wear, Wet Conditions
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living, Work wear
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Excellent at keeping feet warm and dry. The upper portion of this boot is too stiff and felt like a ski boot, very inflexible and was too uncomfortable to work in. Even walking became unbearable, bruised my calves, and ankle bones. P.S. I tried another version of BUGABOOTS and they are wonderful!!!!

I bought this pair of boots before and they are so comfortable, and at a great price , that I had to buy my mom a pair . Hope they are going to continue to make them. Love them and I'm wearing them all the time in winter.

Warm and stable
By Flower Power Lady from Macomb, IL on 11/12/2008
Pros:
Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof
Cons:
Tight around the calf
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Snow
Describe Yourself:
Avid Adventurer
Gear Usage:
Cold Weather Living, Walk hike in snow ice
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I have only worn these boots once so far. They are tight-fitting around the calf and this makes them somewhat uncomfortable. I think they will eventually break-in and not be so stiff. I am looking forward to using them in snow and ice when I will still want to be able to walk the 2 miles to work. However, I plan on using them before then in order to loosen up the leather around the calf. Otherwise, they are a pretty color and the shoe/foot fit is just right.

Comments:
I wear a size 9 shoe but order a size 10 boot, and it fit perfectly without any heavy socks. It is a very warm boot and should be perfect for cold, wet, and snowy weather.
