By anonymous from Northeast on 11/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are the best boots I have ever owned. I now have 2 pairs and love both of them. They keep my feet warm and dry in wet and cold weather alike and they keep the snow out. I work around an airport so I spend some time outside and these boots do their job admirably!!!
By Horse Lady from Kentucky on 11/08/2008 Cons: Heavy, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Don't like them Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots really don't work. They are heavy, not flexible enough to work in or perform sports comfortably. I feel like I have to walk like Frankenstein. Don't bother!

By I like to bike 44 (& XC ski & snowshoe) from Royal Oak, MI on 06/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow, Snow shoeing, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Your "fit guide" is spot on. I purchased 1/2 size up from normal shoe size. Tried them on with hiking socks and they are very comfortable.
By Momof3daughters from Atlanta on 06/17/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these for my daughter who is going to college in Colorado. They fit her fine - true to size. She has not tried them out in snow and winter weather so I give them a 4 star rating until tried. I emailed Columbia, the brand of the boot, to evaluate the difference between this boot and the Ice Crushette. They promptly emailed back that the bugabootoo has 200gm of thinsulate and the Ice Crushette has 400gm... but otherwise they were about the same boot. We chose the lighter weight boot because it should be adequate for Colorado winters without being so weighty. My daughter chose the dark colored boot -it is definitely not a pretty "stylish boot" - but should be fine for going to classes and hiking. My daughter was happy with it for its purpose.

They run very small and I would suggest getting them a 1/2 size larger. Very difficult to get on but I hope that will get better after wearing a couple time. By Kdaniels from Rockville, MD on 03/16/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased these boots at the last minute to go snow tubing in 7 Springs, Pa. They were wonderful! It snowed the entire weekend I was there and stood in the snow for several hours at different times. My feet never once got wet or cold. They are a little heavy, but it's nothing I can't handle. They run small, so I would buy the next size up (especially if you're going to wear heavy socks). I plan on using these as my city winter boots as well.
