Snuggly, warm & very comfy! We walk quite a bit on the courses, and I really like how warm & comfortable they are - no breaking in period! They've been great for me, no complaints at all!

Cute, durable...but rigid. By Just me from Bay Area, Ca on 03/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Rigid not flexible Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great for wet weather....cute, waterproof and warm, I will be taking them on my trip to Alaska.
The boot is pretty rigid around your shin's, you do not have total ankle flexibility. Maybe with more wear it will loosen up.
By Jen from Hollister, CA on 03/16/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Stiff Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are good snow boots. Very warm. I had Bugabootoo boots from 6-7 years ago and they have changed them a bit. To my surprised I found that I needed a 1/2 size larger. They are also a lot more stiff than the old styles. They are not as easy to get in and out of as the old styles, but they are comfortable enough when you get them on. I like Columbia products so I would recommend these.
Good utilitarian winter boots By Florida ski bunny from Gainesville Florida on 03/15/2008 Pros: Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit, Heavy, Not Comfortable Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm a Florida girl who bought these boots to go on my first snowskiing trip to Colorado in late February/early March. These boots did a great job keeping my feet warm and dry (even when I went snowshoeing!) but I thought they were very stiff and heavy. I didn't worry a bit about slipping on any ice because they provided great traction. These are great utilitarian winter boots, but you'll want to buy something more stylish for apres ski parties...

By Kathy from Fort Bragg, CA on 03/10/2008 Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried a 9 and 9 1/2 and couldn't get either on. I usually wear an 8 1/2 to 9. I ended up not using this book. I love the way it looked but just got frustrated.
By Lisa MOT from West of Boston, MA on 03/10/2008 Pros: Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Cons: break in time for shin Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Fits true to size, waterproof, warm and comfortable. The only caveat I have on comfort is there is a break-in period for your shin. I had a pair of these in the past and my husband has a pair. We both agree that the pressure on your shin does go away, but for awhile it feels almost like walking in a ski boot and can leave your shins sore in the beginning. Get through that and you'll love them!
