The 7 1/2 was the best fit. I took them out of the box, drove to Paradise at Mt. Rainier and went snowshoeing. The upper part of the boot is stiff and the front of one ankle was tender by the end of the day. I plan on breaking the boots in and then they will be perfect for snow sports. The boots were waterproof and my feet stayed warm with one pair of Smartwool heavy hiking socks on.

But they are really the best looking/cutest and they are so warm and waterproof. My last ones did last about 5-6 yrs so I cannot complain. I tried other brands like Northface that have a similar pair, but no comparison on comfort.

I was instantly impressed and I'm picky about what goes on my feet. I use them everyday and they're light weight and very comfortable. It wouldn't hurt to make them warmer but I'm not outside all day, they suit my purposes just fine.

There has been alot. These boots are great! The only complaint I have is that they are sooo heavy. The first time you put them on you notice the weight and it takes a while to get used to.
Other than that, I love them!
