By mim from rhode island on 10/31/2009 Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Winter Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very Warm throw I purchased for my daughter for attending football games in the fall. She was dragging blankets out of our linen closet, and bringing them back filthy, so this was a definitely worthwhile purchase. She said it is very warm, though does have a wooly type smell.
By Jerry B. from Springfield, Va on 10/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Big enough to really wrap up. Looks good with leather furniture.
Moon of England Wool Throw By Happy Shopper from Pittsburgh, PA on 09/30/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Soft Describe Yourself: High-end Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was a gift for my wife. She is not easy to please, so I am delighted that she likes it. Ideally it would have had a color scheme that probably no one has ever used in a throw: black, gray, and red, with a bit of mustard yellow. But barring that, the gray and camel combination will do just fine. So thank you for having the right thing at the right time at the right price -- and easy to find, just when I needed it![...] Keep in touch: I may need you again.
By Jbug from Burlington, VT on 09/25/2009 Pros: 100 Wool, Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Soft Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this because it is 100% wool, and I'm using it as a "puddle pad" on our queen sized bed, because our toddler is potty training and we've had too many close calls. Similar items "designed" for mattress protection are upwards of 100$, so this was a great deal. It works well, too! I've tested it extensively with water. It's tremendously water resistent. We wash it in our washing machine with a wool wash. It's a great weight, and fairly dense weave. You can get it a little warmer by felting it slightly in the washing machine. I ordered another one for her bed! No more plastic liners... all natural mattress protection is great!
Exceptional quality, a real DEAL! By knee high in wool from Cinci, OH on 09/12/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Easy To Clean, Soft Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased a Moon throw a couple months ago and have been extremely happy with it. When I saw this particular design a few weeks ago, I bought 3. The quality is outstanding. Light, yet warm. Long enough to even cover your feet for a quick nap. Being a knitter, I'm familiar with different types and quality of wool fiber. This is an outstanding deal on a high quality item. You can always do the Dry Clean Thing or being familiar with wool fibre, this can be washed WITHOUT agitation and in COLD water. Spin lightly in machine or squeeze out excess water in towels and put in dryer on lowest setting checking every few minutes. Do not use WARM or HOT water, AGITATE, or put in HOT DRYER. This would cause the wool to felt. Which means SHRINK! Unless you would like a thicker, smaller lap throw......
