great if dry, but not if wet By Lewis from Utah on 06/25/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These sandals are very comfortable. However, I was anticipating I would use these sandals for rafting. They are great dry but not if you get them wet. They took a long time to dry and caused blisters due to them being damp all day.
By Stepmet from Salt Lake City, Utah on 06/23/2009 Cons: Causes Blisters, Wear Out Quickly Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Took on river trip. Tread separated during the first morning of wear. Heel straps wore away skin on both feet.
By JB from Calabasas, CA on 06/23/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second pair; I bought them from Teva when they first came out. Best pair of sandals I've ever owned. Supportive, and give great foot protection. My atheletic shoes broke down while in the middle of a trip to Italy in Oct. 07, and rather than go to the hassle of replacing them, I switched to these. I wore them all over Rome, and then two days walking through Pompeii and and another day through Herculaneum--some seriously uneven terrain; the Romans used large rocks as their street bedding. I might as well have been wearing hiking boots, and I got the benefit of wearing sandals.

By Team Tecate from Mountains, CO on 06/18/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Outdoor professional Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good sandal. Used it for whitewater rafting. I haven't swam in them yet but they're pretty sturdy and I don't expect to lose them in any rapids. The buckle over the top of the foot, while good for securing the sandal, gets in the way of the foot ports on rafts and is rather uncomfortable when jammed under a thwart or side of raft. By Ipers from Princeton, NJ on 06/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Conservative Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Glad to see Teva finally adopt the snap buckle closing instead of just Velcro. The sole is very soft and comfy, but it can get warm. Good drainage. Strap adjustments are, for me, too short.
Really comfy after you get them adjusted By dave from Louisville, KY on 06/17/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Good Arch Support, Lightweight, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When I first tried these out I thought I was going to have problems with the heel strap. Because of the padding the strap slides up and down your heel, and it felt like it was going to cause a blister. But loosening the main strap fixed the issue (it's hard to NOT have the heel move a little because of the really nice padding). Definite keeper after that minor adjustment.
