comfortable right out of the box By donneek from Cotati CA on 05/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My husband says these are my new sexy shoes, he just loves the red toe nails peeking through the little windows. A big plus given that they are a heck of a lot more comfortable than 4' stilettos with the ankle straps. The ankle straps on the Wraptor are a lot easier to fasten then the stilettos tiny little buckle
I on the other hand like that I don't stub my toes when hiking, and that they are so comfortable. Can't wait to get them to the river this summer.
By Wolf2 from Eastern Shore of Maryland on 05/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear, Kayaking, Rafting, Sailing, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great sandal. The closed toe is new to me and I found that it didn't affect cooling of foot but I felt my toes were more protected. I've worn wraptors before and love them. This was an experiment that worked out. Very comfortable like other wraptors. I wouldn't hike in a sandal but if you were going to-- this would be the one because of the fit and protection.

By Bleumarine4 from South Florida on 05/26/2009 Pros: Dries Quickly, Durable, Good Traction Cons: Difficult On and Off, Just did not fit, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Kayaking, Rafting, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was so excited to have this shoe to hike along the water in Central America, go boating and just walk around town.
However, after just an hour of beach walking, they were digging into the back of my ankle and caused big cut and skin tear. I tried band-aids for cushioning but this did not work.
I had even ordered both a 7.5 and an 8 to be safe. The 7.5 was too short but I think the 8 was just too big and therefore rubbed in the wrong place. I have a narrow foot too and perhaps these are better for medium to wide feet.
A bit complicated to get on and off.
I am disappointed because they looked so perfect!
I would just say do a test walk around your house for a bit before you take them out to adventure!
Superb quality and craftsmanship By Alexsbigg from North Carolina on 05/25/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight, Supports a bad arch Best Uses: Boating, Casual Wear, Diabetic foot support, Kayaking, Rafting, Sailing, Wading, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Advanced User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shoe has so much support and comfort that you want to wear them everyday. The front toe closure aids in not having any injury occur to my diabetic feet and the arch support is marvelous to my injured right foot. I love this shoe and am thankful that you carry this type of quality and excellence.
