By Hyrax mahout from Ithaca NY on 07/12/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Shock-Absorbent Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete, Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Comfortable, lightweight shoe, with decent support; not the greatest lateral stability. Nice combination of functionality and decent, casual appearance. Great for travel, and light hiking. I don't use them for running, but would be able/willing to do so in a pinch. I am considering getting another pair.
There are some negative comments regarding the narrowness of this shoe - I am generally comfortable in a med-width shoe, and these are comfortable. I would guess they are *slightly* on the narrow side of a medium width, which would be a factor if you are a little wider.

Good shoes just heed the warnings By Bob from Oregon on 05/07/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Dries Quickly, Durable, Stabilizes Foot Best Uses: All Weather Conditions, Grass, Mixed Terrain, Muddy Conditions, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Trail Jogger Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These shoes are tighter than most, and until you break them in (took me about three days) they are almost too tight to bear. But with that said, now that the suede has stretched out, they are very comfortable. Has lots of high profile traction, but no low profile traction so its like walking on cleats if you are using them for everyday use. Great trail running shoe though.

By Mitch from Marion, In on 04/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Dries Quickly, Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: Everyday, Grass Describe Yourself: Athletic Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these shoes for everyday use because all my other pairs were wearing out. So far I've simply worn them walking to class and once to play basketball. They are very comfortable and I can't even tell that I played basketball in them, which leads me to believe that they're somewhat sturdy. They also look nice and dry quickly when wet.

Comfortable traveling shoes By Retired tech-teacher from Charlotte, NC on 03/26/2009 Pros: Arch Support, Comfortable/No Break-In, Great Traction, Lightweight Best Uses: Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Rocky/Unstable Terrain Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker, Traveler Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Wear these shoes for hiking, workouts, and when traveling. They are extremely comfortable, easy to pack, and great when sightseeing here or abroad.
My one criticism is the shoelaces are too long and must be double-knotted to shorten their length and keep them tied.
My wife liked their weight so much she ordered the women's version for herself and loves them too.

By Maverick from Louisville KY on 03/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable/No Break-In, Durable, Great Traction Best Uses: Everyday, Paved Trails Describe Yourself: Recreational Walker/Hiker Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I picked these shoes up a couple weeks ago and I can only say good things about them. I havent been able to test them on the trail for a day hike yet but if you want a shoe that you could wear to the office, then to park afterward and to the pub after that this is your shoe.
