By The Handler from Tempe, AZ on 06/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Shoes are very light, and similar to a former pair of beloved Teva Gamma shoes I previously owned. As noted previously, the shoes feel a slight bit smaller than the shoe size states, so getting a half size up would probably be the best thing to do.
By Forest Gump from Montana on 05/29/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Although described as trail running shoes, they don't look like running shoes and they don't have the support or shock absorption qualities you would want for running. I didn't expect they would be good for running; I was just hoping for comfortable everyday shoes, and that's exactly what I got. I like them a lot.
By hubbydaddy from Indiana on 05/28/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: If you have been cursed with congenitally narrow feet and have searched all your life for a shoe that is true to length but so narrow your circulation painfully slows 10 seconds after forcing your foot though it's opening, this shoe is for you. Otherwise, someone at TEVA snuck this dud past quality control. caveat emptor.
By Iza the wanderer from st. paul, mn on 05/10/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Great Traction, Lightweight, Non-slip sole, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Treacherous Urban Streets, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got these shoes for a trip to china, and whether I was dodging traffic in the cities or wandering on mountain trails, these shoes felt like the logical choice for whatever I was doing.
I would buy this product again By Munzy from Badger, MN on 04/29/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wearing these at work and they have been very comfortable, but its too early to know if they will hold up.I walk alot and mostly on concrete. The comfort is good and they look nice also, but are a pretty narrow shoe.
By Chappy from Eagle, CO on 04/07/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cool Laces, Great style, Great Traction, Stable Best Uses: Casual wear, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is Teva brand but I really got this shoe as a casual work/leisure shoe. It has a really cool look and the rounded hiking boot style laces which are nice. The Light Sand color is really nice with two tone neutrals. Right off the bat the shoe felt a bit snug but after 2-3 wears, it has really loosened up quite a bit and I have worn them all day a few times without any foot pain or fatigue. They have a pretty heavy traction sole that hasn't slipped yet in rain or snow. Great shoe and I wouldn't mind them in another color to have 2 pair!
By The Mayan Explorer from Denver,CO on 03/19/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Non-slip sole, Stable Best Uses: Cold weather, Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a surprisingly comfortable casual shoe along with being rugged enough for day hikes. In hiking up a volcano in Guatemala and then into the calderas's hot cinder field the shoe handled the sharp cinders and heat without any problems unlike the Merrill "Overdrive" which couldn't handle less severe hiking without the sole coming off.
By Wombat tamer from Chicago, IL on 03/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Day hikes, Everyday Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great value for a fine shoe. My only qualm is that *sometimes* the arch feels too supportive, or a little off-set. But this has only happened two days since I've worn it. I suppose it has something to do with how it is laced. I use these at the gym and walking around the city.
Great fit, a little warmer than I'd want By Joe from Chicago, IL on 03/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Water Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just got these shoes for light hiking and every day use. They fit great, they're very light and comfortable and they look good. My only complaint is that they're not as breathable as I'd like, and my feet tend to heat up when I wear them. Even so, they're a great value.
