Comfortable. Great tread. Waterproof. Good looking, too. All for a great price (Gortex is expensive and usually not so attractive options carry it).

Has more support than the low-cut hiking shoes, but is not as big and clunky as a full hiking boot. I've used for hikes up to 8 miles with good comfort. Price unbeatable for a Gore-tex boot.

They are light and totally comfortable. I do have a narrower foot so these fit me better than most. I highly recommend them.
